Bundl Australia donates product to local charity, We Care Connect
Bundl Australia is proud to be donating over $3,300 worth of Bundl products to local Central Coast charity, We Care Connect based at Wyong NSW.
Operating since 2016, We Care Connect has been partnering with professional caseworkers from community centres and family support agencies who provide individual requests for the families they are helping.
We Care Connect’s amazing volunteers prepare support packages tailored to each family’s needs. Support can include clothes, nappies, bedding, cots, prams, car seats, toys, books and other essential items that families of young children need.
As part of Bundl Australia’s contribution, the wrap and blanket retailer has donated 10 of their famous wool wraps, 10 swaddles, four fitted bassinet sheets, five fitted cot sheets, two six-ply gauze blankets, six coastal blankets and six cotton winter blankets. The donation equals $3,365 worth of product to go to local families in need.
Bundl Australia Founder and Owner, Belinda Appleby said the rising cost of living is putting serious strain on families on the Central Coast, which is even more worrying throughout winter.
"Ten thousand children are living below the poverty line on the Central Coast, and in our view, that’s 10,000 too many,” said Appleby.
This donation we’ve dropped off to We Care Connect today is a small way our business can help to make winter more comfortable for families who are doing it tough while caring for babies and small children.”
“We encourage our followers and customers to visit the We Care Connect website (https://wecareconnect.org.au/) to donate to the cause, volunteer or find out how to drop off your good-quality second hand goods.”
Bundl Australia is committed to contributing to the health and wellbeing of children in our local area. We routinely donate and participate in fundraising initiatives that go towards helping to improve the lives of children on the Central Coast of New South Wales, our brand home.
